I am writing my first book as a independent author and a lifetime creator of art. What started as an outlet to process some deep emotions after losing my job in December of '22, quickly became a passion project inspiring me to peel back the layers of unresolved obstacles throughout my life and reflect on them in a creative way.

Since the first few half of the book as been completed and proof-read, preorders will receive the first 15 chapters of The Empty Booth e-book. The first 4 chapters are free to read and share on my website, every week another chapter from Part I will release until the book is finalized and published.
When completed (postponed - estimated mid 2024) pre-orders will receive signed soft or hard cover books.

I am at the point in the process of writing where I am about 10 chapters away from finishing Part 3, of my first book in this series. The few people I have let read finished chapters have drooled over the suspenseful scenes and relatable feelings expressed by the characters in the book.
After writing is completed, there s the editing process, chapter artwork, and finally PRINTING!

You're pre-ordering an unfinished book, luckily its mostly finished, and I am excited about getting it out for people to read and digest. I've given myself a good buffer to account for writers block and editing and am confident that I can meet the adjusted deadline for e-book distribution with physical copies being shipped out shortly after. BUT, if anything prevents me from meeting my goals I will make updates and release additional chapters as needed.
In addition to being a creative, I professionally have over a decade of experience managing orders and special production runs for international manufacturing companies, so I am aware of unexpected issues that arise during production and final shipment of items throughout the fulfillment process.
I personally am dedicated to resolving issues quickly and with transparency to ensure that customers are aware of any changes in estimated ship dates.
Should any difficulties arise that could delay finalizing proofs, production, or shipment, they will be communicated to backers honestly and immediately, especially in current times as production and shipping companies are experiencing new challenges everyday.

The author known as Hazel Spath, has deeply enjoyed getting to use the written medium as a creative outlet for her fantasy and mental wellness to process. She was able to successfully fund her second Kickstarter to be able to self-publish her first book of three planned in the series. While she’s often an anxious mess, she’s always excited to overshare and relate.
